He received a Bachelor of Fine Art in Graphic Arts and Photography in New Orleans, and specialized in portrait and photographic illumination at the International Center of Photography in New York. Tobon also studied publicity photography and architectonic photography at Artes Visuales Center in Madrid, Spain in and received degree in color handling and digital images processing from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellin, Colombia. Carlos Tobon has dedicated his life to exploring and perfecting his art form. Fascinated by the simplest intricacies of the physical world, Carlos Tobon captures a perspective that is both captivating and profound. His work has been part of numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout North and South America and has been featured in multiple hardbound international publications. |
